🔔 Setting up your notification preferences

Stay updated your way—email, text, or in-app only Notifications help you stay on top of updates to your Action Plan—like new appointments, tasks, messages, or check-ins. You decide how you want to be notified: by email, text, both, or just within the app.

Why this matters

Everyone’s situation is different. Some people want text reminders, others prefer email, and some don’t want outside notifications at all. You’re in control—and you can update your preferences at any time.


How to update your notification settings

  1. Log into Careteam

  2. Go to My Profile (top right corner)

  3. Scroll down to Notification Preferences

  4. Choose:

    • Email

    • Text

    • Both

    • Neither (you’ll still see updates through the in-app notification bell)

  5. Save your changes


💡 Good to know

  • By default, notifications are sent by email only

  • If you turn off email/text, you can still view all updates by clicking the 🔔 notification bell inside Careteam

  • You can change your settings anytime through My Profile
