Frequently asked questions
A secure way to end active use without losing your health information Whether you've completed your program, your treatment has ended, or your needs have changed, you might not need to keep using your Action Plan. Instead of deleting anything, you can archive it. This means your plan becomes inactive, but your information is safely stored and still accessible later.

Your Action Plan is your tool—you're in control. Even after your care ends, it may still be helpful to look back at your notes, resources, or care history. Archiving makes the plan inactive while keeping that information available for later use by you or your health team.
✅ Still want access but no notifications?
You can simply turn off notifications:
Go to My Profile
Remove your email and phone number under Notifications
You’ll stop getting emails or texts, but still see updates when you log in.
📦 Want to archive it completely?
You’ll need to contact the health team who started your Action Plan.
Find out who started your plan:
Go to the Persons panel
Look at the Team section
You’ll see the program or provider who created the plan
Reach out:
Use secure messaging to contact an active team member
Or, check the instructions section of your plan for a phone number to call
📝 Ask them to archive your Action Plan.
Careteam is the software provider. To protect your privacy, we don’t have the authority to delete or archive plans. Only your healthcare team can do that, because they understand your context and can make the right call.
Archiving:
Turns off all notifications
Preserves your health data securely
Can be reversed if you need access again later
💡 Cool things to know
You can always come back and ask to unarchive your plan
Archived plans aren't visible to support teams unless reactivated
